Prof. Dr. Kadir Mutlu HAYRAN
Biography Prof. Dr. Kadir Mutlu Hayran received his medical degree and cancer epidemiology specialization from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his Public Health specialization at the University of Pittsburgh, USA. He has attended numerous international courses on clinical research methodologies, epidemiology, biostatistics, and cancer control at institutions including the World Health Organization International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), the US National Cancer Institute (NCI), the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC), and universities in Michigan (USA) and Pavia (Italy).
He worked as a specialist researcher in the Cancer Control and Prevention unit at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI) for two years and has served as an instructor in various national and international certification programs. Between 2012-2014, he participated in community-based tobacco control field studies conducted jointly by Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health, and the World Health Organization.
